北京查清地理国情“家底” 林草覆盖面积占市域面积六成以上

Beijing conducted a survey of its geographical conditions, with over 60% of the urban area covered by forests and grasslands

2月9日,北京市规划国土委、北京市统计局和北京市第一次地理国情普查领导小组办公室联合发布北京市第一次地理国情普查公报,公布了北京市地理国情“家底”。

On February 9, a report was jointly published by the Beijing Municipal Planning and Land Resource Administration Committee, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics, and the Office of the Leading Group for the First Citywide Survey on Beijing’s Geographical Conditions, which revealed the city’s geographical features to the public.


根据公报,此次普查查清了北京全市域各类地形地貌的面积和空间分布。北京市海拔均在2500米以下。房屋建筑(区)占地面积为1466.09平方千米,占市域总面积的8.93%。林草覆盖总面积达到10122.78平方千米,占市域总面积的61.69%。

The survey verified the area and distribution of various geographical landscapes across the city. Beijing has an average altitude below 2,500 meters. Its houses and buildings cover 1466,09 square kilometers, accounting for 8.93% of the total area of Beijing. Forests and grasslands cover 10 122,78 square kilometers, or 61.69% of the total area in Beijing.

钢铁企业的尾气经过加工能变废为宝,成为高附加值的燃料乙醇、天然气和高蛋白饲料。这不是天方夜谭,而是北京国企首钢在曹妃甸所属的新能源科技公司——首钢朗泽的创新技术。

The industrial exhaust of steel companies can be turned into valuable resources after proper processing, such as fuel ethanol, natural gas and high-protein feed with high added value. This is not a fantasy, but an innovative technology of Shougang Langze, a new energy technology company at Caofeidian owned by the state-owned Shougang Group in Beijing.


记者近日从首钢京唐了解到,首钢朗泽工厂正在进行最后的设备调试,3月份即将正式通气投产。这个曹妃甸工业区的明星项目,利用首钢京唐的工业尾气通过生物发酵技术转化为清洁能源等,能实现尾气资源的高效清洁利用,未来还将助力更多钢铁企业,为京津冀等更多地区的蓝天白云和治霾工作做出贡献。

Reporter recently learned from Shougang Jingtang that Shougang Langze plant is in the last stage of fine-tuning their equipment and will be officially put into operation in March. This star project in the Caofeidian Industrial Zone uses Shougang Jingtang's industrial exhaust and turn it into clean energy through bio-fermentation technology, achieving the efficient and clean use of exhaust gas. In the future, it will also implement this technology for more steel companies, thus making contribution to the environment and fog treatment in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

国家测绘地理信息局2月10日接受新华社记者采访时表示,中国从未在任何时候、以任何形式放弃2005年精确测定的8844.43米珠穆朗玛峰顶岩石面海拔高程数据。

In an interview with Xinhua News Agency on February 10, National Administration of Surveying, Mapping and Geoinformation (NASG) said China has never renounced its 8844.43-meter measurement of Everest at any time and in any form. This was the accurate height of the rock peak measured in 2005.


近日,有国外媒体报道援引尼泊尔登山协会前负责人的说法:中国已经放弃珠峰8844米的海拔高度,认同尼泊尔方面的8848米。作为中国组织精确测定和受权公布珠峰海拔高程的法定部门,国家测绘地理信息局澄清,中国从未放弃8844.43米珠峰海拔高程。

Recently, some foreign media quoted the former head of Nepal Mountaineering Association as saying: China has already relinquished its measurement of Everest, which is 8,844.43, and agreed with the 8,848-meter measurement made by Nepal. As a statutory body for accurately measuring and authorized to make public the height of Everest, NASG has clarified that China has never given up its measurement of 8,844.43 meters of the Mount Everest.

据悉,此次挂牌仪式是中国管理科学研究院和上海程祥实业股份有限公司为落实上海市城市总体规划,助力上海虹桥建成长三角世界级城市群核心枢纽的发展目标,建设上海长三角国际科创中心、推进军民深度融合的重大战略举措。

Co-established by CAMS and Shanghai Chengxiang Industry Co., Ltd, the BDO was set up to contribute to Shanghai’s urban planning, and help Hongqiao to build world-class city clusters in the Yangtze River Delta. It is a major strategic measure to form an international science innovation center in the Yangtze River Delta and stimulate deep civil-military integration.

据中科院金属研究所介绍:这家研究所研制出能够利用体温发电的新材料。研究团队预计,未来5年,这种新材料就可以实现商业化,为蓝牙耳机、健康监测器、手表、智能手环等可穿戴电子设备供电。

According to the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMR CAS), they have developed a new material utilizing the body heat to generate electricity. The research team estimates that this new material can be commercialized in five years. It can supply power to wearable electronic devices, such as Bluetooth headsets, health monitors, electronic watches and smart bands.


在金属研究所沈阳材料科学国家(联合)实验室,邰凯平研究员向记者介绍了这一新材料:不足一指宽、0.1毫米厚的单片灰色软质薄膜,贴在人体手腕处,所连接的测量电表上立刻显示出有明显输出电压。

At the Shenyang National Laboratory for Materials Science of IMR, researcher Tai Kaiping gives an introduction to this new material: a piece of gray flexible film about 0.1 mm thick and less than one fingerbreadth wide. Once it is put on people’s wrist, the wired electricity meter will clearly show the output voltage right away.

It stated that Russian scientists have been carrying out this research and development for a long time and hoped to develop a space vehicle that can allow astronauts to get around in the space orbit more easily and more freely, something they called a “space motorcycle”. This motorcycle can carry astronauts and move easily in the outer space.

That's according to a new research conducted by scientists of the University of California, who said they've figured out a way to track the sun's cycle. It's commonly known that the sun moves through an 11-year cycle where it experiences active and quiet periods known as the solar maximum and solar minimum. They believe they've pinpointed exactly when the next solar minimum would occur, saying the sun could become 'unusually cool' as soon as 2050.

为了打造更加环保的电子设备,研究人员们设想了一种可以完全回收的“电子皮肤”(e-skin),而且即便被撕裂,e-skin也能够自我修复。据2月10日发表在《科学进展》(Science Advances)的研究所述,该设备本质上是一片装有传感器的薄膜,能够测量压力、温度、湿度、以及气流。该薄膜由是三种现已商用的化合物和纳米银颗粒混合而成。

To make electronics more environmentally friendly, researchers have created an electronic skin, or e-skin, that is totally recyclable and self-healing, even when it’s torn. As described in a research published on February 10 on the journal Science Advances , the e-skin is in essence a thin film featuring sensors that measure pressure, temperature, humidity and air flow. It’s made up of three commercially available chemical compounds and silver nanoparticles.

According to the official website of NASA, an international research team has integrated the work of the earth-based and space telescopes to study the TRAPPIST-1 planetary system, which consists of seven Earth-size planets with a distance of only 40 light years to the Earth. The latest study shows that the TRAPPIST-1 system is the best place to find alien life outside the solar system. A relevant paper is published in the Astronomy & Astrophysics.
